Motorcycle Market accepts returns and will exchange items that we receive within
30 days of the date said items were delivered to you, determined by the dates shown
on the delivery company’s tracking system.
Returns incur a 5% re-stocking fee, which will be waived if you elect to accept
a credit in the amount of the unshipped price of the item returned or if you make
an exchange for an item of equal or greater cost. Shipping costs, inbound and outbound,
are the responsibility of the customer.
* Returned items must be free of all damage, markings, blemishes, scratches, tears,
dents, creases, signs of wear, odors, pet hair, dirt, gravel or any form of debris.
Motorcycle Market cannot accept items that aren’t returned in the same condition
they were sent. If a product is damaged during shipping, it becomes a matter for
the shipping carrier. This is why we recommend that customers get insurance from
their shipping carrier when returning or exchanging an item.
Motorcycle Market highly recommends that you get “pre-sized” before ordering apparel
when you’re not absolutely sure what size to order. Using the sizing charts available
on MotorcycleMarket.com or on the manufacturer’s website can be helpful, but these
are only guides and are not foolproof. If you know someone that has the item you’d
like to purchase, or a similar item of the same brand, ask to try it on. Another
way to get sizing information is to call the manufacturer directly and ask them
if their sizes tend to run larger or smaller than other makers. Since we cannot
size or measure our customers, and because sizes vary from maker to maker, we will
not make size recommendations.
Like other motorcycle parts dealers, Motorcycle Market is unable to accept returns
or exchanges of certain aftermarket items, including but not limited to many electrical
and lighting parts, manuals and books. The same applies to price-matched items,
special order and discontinued items, plus sale and clearance items.
Inbound and outbound shipping fees for returned or exchanged items are the customer’s
responsibility. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Motorcycle Market recommends
that you insure your package before shipping it back and that you ship with a carrier
that issues tracking numbers, as Motorcycle Market will not issue a refund for products
that are damaged or lost in transit to us.
If you need to return an item that was damaged during shipping to you, or if a mistake
was made by the manufacturer or Motorcycle Market, please contact us and we will
help you resolve the problem. In such cases, you will not be charged our customary
5% restocking fee and we will cover the return shipping expense to addresses in
the Continental United States.
Motorcycle Market makes every effort to avoid charging customers restocking fees
on returned items, usually when special circumstances apply. But restocking fees
are necessary and normally will be charged. Application of restocking fees is not
limited to used, damaged, discontinued and special order items.
